Location and arrival

From the A22 Brennero motorway:
take the Bressanone/Varna exit towards Val Pusteria/San Candido. Pass the sign for the Valle di Anterselva and continue along the main Val Pusteria road.  After 300 metres, take the first turning on the left (with signs for the “Hotel Alte Goste”). Continue along the mountain road for 6 km until you see the signpost for the Tiefentalhof, then turn left. Our farm is a kilometre further on.

Coming from East Tyrol or Cortina:
drive past Dobbiaco and continue to Monguelfo; turn right after the centre of the village towards the Val di Casies. Turn left for Tesido after about 1 km and pass the parish church. You’ll see a sign for the “Tiefentalhof” after 2 km. Turn right here, and our farm is 1 km further on.

Important to note: Tiefentalhof Farm is not directly accessible by public transport.
However, you can travel on a local Val Pusteria train as far as Monguelfo and then take the bus to Tesido. We’ll be happy to pick you up when you arrive, free of charge.
However, it’s hard to get to the grocery shop if you don’t have a car, or to the starting point for your hikes.
An alternative is to take the train as far as Brunico, Bressanone or Bolzano and then rent a car there.
